We are working with a strong regional chartered accountancy firm who are recruiting a Payroll Administrator to join their payroll team based at their Newbury office.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will enjoy a wide and varied role working with many different clients on their weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and annual payrolls as well as dealing with payroll queries.

About You:

  • Ideally you will have payroll experience gained by working within a firm of accountants or a payroll bureau
  • Be able to multi task by working on a series of different payrolls at any one time
  • Comfortable at working in a deadline driven and pressurised environment
  • Experience of Sage 50 and Star payroll is advantageous but not essential.
  • First class communication skills as you will be dealing directly with clients and HMRC etc.
