We are working with a top 20 ranked firm of chartered accountants who are looking for an Outsourcing Semi Senior to join their growing team. This role will be based at their office in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

About You:

• AAT qualified or ACCA/ACA part qualified
• Experience within an accountancy practice is essential
• Keen interest in cloud accounting
• Must have experience with Sage 50
• Working knowledge of Xero and Quickbooks Online - essential
• First class communication and presentation skills

About the role:

• Preparation of VAT returns
• Analysis of payments, receipts and information to prepare bank recs
• Posting of entries to Sales, Purchases and Nominal Ledgers
• Preparation of management accounts
• Work closely with clients
• Regularly attending client meetings on and off site
• Assist with the training of junior staff members
• Study support for further studies can be provided
