Term Time Only (40 weeks)

The Flying Bull Academy is an academy in the heart of Portsmouth, proud of our caring ethos and striving to support our children to achieve their full potential.

As our new Pupil Support Worker you will join our dedicated and successful team,working together to support children, aged between 5 and 9, with their social,emotional and mental health needs to assist with their transition back into mainstream school.

You will be a person who enjoys working with children and has the skills, knowledge and abilities to create a calm and positive learning environment. Working as part of a team to engage and support pupils, you will have the experience and resilience to help them overcome their own personal barriers in order to achieve.

With strong interpersonal and communication skills, working closely with parents and carers and wider professional organisations, you will be organised and efficient and able to take part in meetings and deal effectively and sensitively with complex matters.
