An established top 20 accountancy practice are recruiting a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join their established tax team based at their Thames Valley office in Reading, Berkshire.

About You

• Ideally be CTA qualified but latter stage studiers will be considered
• Looking for collaborative firm where real opportunities exist for progression and development
• Proven networker and business winner
• First class communication skills in this client facing role

Overview of the role:

• Work closely with the tax partners delivering special and project based work including technical research to support the senior management team
• Overseeing larger or more complex compliance work with a portfolio of existing clients, ranging from directors of owner-managed companies to non-domiciled and high net worth individuals
• Act as a role model for junior members of the team, providing on-the-job coaching
• Take primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget on projects
• Prepare timely WIP analysis and draft fees
