Working for the University of Chichester Students''s Union, the post-holder will facilitate and support the development of student societies and the Societies Federation, and develop a core range of engaging events and activities for students to enhance the SU Society and Sport offering (including a small number of community volunteering events).

There will be a focus on generation of additional funds to support and ensure long term sustainability of the SU activities provision. Initially it is envisaged this would be through development of a fundraising policy (based upon best practice within the sector), implementation and promotion of one or two key Union fundraising events per year, and exploration of external funding opportunities.
