Finance and Planning Department

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Accounts Assistant to join the Finance & Planning Department at the University of Chichester. You will provide efficient, effective and professional account support for both the Accounts Payable and Receivables functions. Duties will include processing purchase invoices, helping prepare a weekly BACS payment file, arranging payment of currency invoices, processing purchase card statements, responding to supplier queries, cashier service, processing sales invoices and debt collection.

Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised, under pressure and use own initiative, you should be a pro-active team player who brings an enthusiastic, flexible and helpful attitude to work. Good all-round experience of working in an Accounts payable and/or Receivables is essential within an environment requiring high levels of organisation and accuracy.
