The Care Centre Manager will report to the Dispensing Manager and will have responsibility for the overall management of the Glasgow Care Centre.

The purpose of the Care Centre Manager is:

  • The overall management of the Ipswich Care Centre in line with Standard Operating Procedures and pre-agreed KPI’s (key performance indicators)
  • Leading the team to achieving Care Centre KPI’s
  • People Management responsibility for the Care Centre Team
  • To fulfil and customise customer’s orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Key responsibilities

People Management:

  • Carrying out staff monthly 1-2-1’s, and Annual Appraisals
  • Assisting in the training and development of staff by providing on-the-job hands on training.
  • Managing staff issues (such as disciplinaries, grievances, and capabilities) in accordance with HR procedures and practices
  • Staff Recruitment as and when required

Processing Client Orders:

  • Picking, Checking, Packing, and Dispatching Client orders
  • Templating pouches to Clients requirements
  • Hand Cutting pouches / flanges

Stock, Ordering and Goods inwards:

  • Ordering out of stock items for next day delivery on emergency basis only
  • Ordering of packing materials
  • Receiving and unpacking deliveries
  • Restocking shelves
  • Checking delivery notes and orders against goods inwards
  • Completing quarterly stock checks

Other:

  • Ensuring a Safe working environment for staff in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Procedures
  • Day to day housekeeping
  • Attend annual conferences, training days and management meetings as and when required
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal departments, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Ensure that all services are provided in accordance with current legislation / NHS guidelines and Company process and policy.
  • Continually look for, and suggest, ways we can improve the service we provide to Health Care professionals and our mutual clients.
  • Actively promote Fittleworth to internal and external customers, carrying out all duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
  • Demonstrate the Fittleworth Way Values within the business at all times.
  • Any other reasonable duties requested by your Department manager or the Company director team in their absence.
