Front of House Assistant

We’re looking for a Front of House Assistant to join the team at Farmer, Butcher Chef, where great food, great wine and genuine hospitality sit at the heart of everything we do. This is a customer‑facing role for someone who enjoys conversation, takes pride in thoughtful service, and loves being part of an energetic, welcoming team.

Set on the Goodwood Estate, this is a place where every interaction matters - whether it’s recommending a dish, sharing the story behind our produce, or simply making someone feel relaxed and well looked after.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days look the same, but you’ll spend your time:

• Welcoming guests and helping them feel instantly at home
• Creating warm, memorable experiences through friendly, attentive service
• Talking confidently about seasonal menus, locally sourced food and drink
• Supporting service across lunches, dinners, events and tastings
• Working closely with the team to keep the atmosphere relaxed, professional and enjoyable
• Representing Goodwood values through your care, attention to detail and personality

You don’t need to know everything from day one - curiosity, enthusiasm and a love of people matter most. We’ll support you with training and tastings to build your confidence along the way.
